Perfectly directed thriller “Stolen” describes us a father who has lost his son. He cannot live quietly without the information about the killer of his dear boy. The desperate father tires to find out the truth and punish the offender…

Being a successful detective, Jon Hamm in the role of Tom Adkins is a father, who wants to establish the justice. Tommy Jr., his son, was only 10 years old, when one day he suddenly disappeared. And there were no traces of him, no witnesses or facts, that could help his father’s grief.

But the event that happened one morning would cast light on an intricate case. Starting to investigate the case of a murdered boy, whose remains were found 50 years after his death, the detective perceives the similarity to the case of his own son.

The facts of the investigation bring the detective Tom Adkins to the house of a man named Matthew Wakefield (Josh Lucas). He gets to know that Matthew has a strange son John, who is insane. The details of the case become more and more evident. But these details are very horrible. Step by step the detective gets to know the way, his son was killed. Living with the only desire – to punish the murderer, Tom Adkins is now as close to his mission as possible.
