The terrifying and mystical story of a girl called Anna who was between two extremes (death and life) is described in a thriller “After.Life”. Christina Ricci in the role of Anna was frightened to death, when she understood, that she would be buried soon.
Anna became conscious after the accident that had happened to her in a car crash, and found out she had to be buried. Eliot Deacon (Liam Neeson) was the main person who organized the ceremony. The funeral director persuaded the girl, that she was dead and that he was a person, who had the tie between the other world and the world of living people. Anne was about to leave the Earth and this world.
Having nothing but believe her own death, Anna went with the flow. The only person who didn’t want to accept the fact of Anna’s death was her boyfriend Paul (Justin Long). Paul suspected, that the death of his beloved was somehow connected with Eliot and was not real. Step by step Paul unravels the terrible truth and tries to do everything possible to save Anna and prevent the funeral ceremony.
The film “After.Life” makes the audience think over the sense of life and death and see how thin the line between them can be.
