The former court worker Benjamin Espósito from Argentina, thirty years after the case of murder, couldn’t accept the verdict in the court and believed it was mistaken. All these years he couldn’t sleep quietly and was thinking about it. So the man decided to investigate the case again.
Benjamin was sure that he can find the real murderer and solve the mystery. He tried to assure the others to open the case again and renew the investigation.
Besides the desire to investigate the case, Benjamin starts to write a book describing the whole story of a rape. It was the case of a young couple who faced terrible crime soon after their wedding. The girl was brutally raped and killed in her own house, when her husband was away at work. Led by personal feelings and thoughts, young Benjamin Espósito was supposed to investigate this case, but that time he was too much carried away to think soberly. Moreover, politicians and some officials didn’t give the case the right way. Tangled in the investigation, Benjamin didn’t act properly. Only thirty years later he decided to restore justice that could give him the opportunity to live at ease.
The film represents such genres as drama and thriller and is based on the events, described in the book written by Eduardo Sacheri.
