But the situation gets even more stressful, when he starts seeing and hearing terrifying apparitions at nights. The man is puzzled and frightened by these phenomena and doesn’t know whether they are just his nightmares, or real ghosts, living in the house.

The town, where Farr and his family live, starts the annual literary festival, where Michael works as a volunteer. By chance he gets acquainted with Lena, an author of supernatural fiction. He tells her about his night visions and fears. Lena tries to help Michael to get rid of these apparitions, but at the same time she has to solve her own problems, connected with her brief and unpromising relation with the novelist Nicholas Holden.

Further the events of the plot twist around these three adults, whose ways crossed at the same place and at the same time. And the more Michael and Nicholas collide with each other, the more vivid visions come to Michael, and the more powerful the phenomena get…
