FORMOZA BETRAYED tells about real events 1970th-1980th years which occurred in Taiwan.
During the investigation of murder of Taiwanese-American scientist the FBI Agent Jake Kelly by means of the employee of FBI and a police detective from Chicago finds out that the trace of murderers conducts to Taiwan. Kelly goes for ocean to help the government of Taiwan to investigate this severe murder. First over his work the Taiwan official and the American diplomat supervised. But soon Agent Kelly realizes that he is a very unwelcome guest in a foreign country. Besides, under the guise of hospitality and willingness to co-operate the true treachery is hiding.
Jake Kelly gets acquainted with Taiwanese activist Ming who helps him to find out all truth about Formosa Island. This truth appears pernicious for Agent Kelly and for his relations with the government of his native United States, the Chinese government in Taiwan, and also with the Chinese Mafia. Investigation of the brutal murder reveals the complex and confused connection of a policy of the different countries, internal policy of each country, power structures, mafias and separate influential persons.
