“Hatchet II” is a sequel of the horror film of the same name “Hatchet”, released in 2006. The film is written and directed by scriptwriter and filmmaker Adam Green. The main heroine Marybeth has succeeded to escape the common lot of her family – to be brutally killed by Victor Crowley in swamplands of Louisiana. Marybeth’s family as well as the other people, who arrived to the Louisiana swamps as tourists, couldn’t withstand the clutches of this swamp-dwelling murderer, and only Marybeth escaped from this nightmare.
Having returned to civilization, the main heroine starts planning her revenge against Victor Crawley. With the help of Reverend Zombie – a local voodoo shop owner, she gathers several hardened hunters, able to risk their lives and go to the swamplands and pay a visit to the bloody and deformed monster…
“Hatchet II” is the sort of a film, which will be highly appreciated by horror lovers. The sinister atmosphere of the swamps, where the evil wanders, won’t let the viewer indifferent. The film by Adam Green will surely make you vibrant with fear.
