Two men – Vic and Danny are planning to kidnap the young woman and hold her for a considerable ransom. For that purpose they make all the required preparations: buy instruments to make the room for hostage soundproofed and provide it with a bed and other supplies, necessary for living. Actually it is not a room, but a sort of a plastic cell, created for the only reason – to imprison someone in there for the certain period of time.
When the preparations are complete and the place is ready, the kidnappers drag the millionaire’s daughter from the street. They put a gag into the hostage’s mouth and a bag over her head, then take her to the room and tie her to the bed. But Alice Creed doesn’t feel like being a perfect victim of Danny and Vic and bringing the kidnappers easy money. Her mutinous and unpredictable temper doesn’t let her captors to follow their thorough plan. Moreover Alice breeds strife between composed Vic and too nervous Danny, and that makes the situation even more dangerous…
The film, written and directed by J Blakeson, stars Gemma Arterton as Alice Creed; Martin Compston in the role of Danny; and Eddie Marsan as Vic.
